Cynthia Meicher obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master’s of Science in Accounting with an emphasis in Income Taxation from the University of Colorado at Boulder. After graduating, Cynthia spent three years working for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in San Francisco, California. PricewaterhouseCoopers is the nation’s largest CPA firm with offices throughout the world.
Cynthia worked in the tax department of the San Francisco office as an intern and associate. After two years with the firm she earned promotion to senior associate.
In November of 2006 Cynthia relocated to her hometown of Madison, WI to join Meicher CPAs, LLP.
At Meicher CPAs, Cynthia has worked on a wide range of tax and accounting issues for small business and individual clients. Her areas of specialization include income tax planning, valuation and executive stock option consulting. She began working on valuation assignments in 2007 and obtained the Certified Valuation Analyst designation. Her written report of this examination was selected by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts to be published in their National Case Reports Library.
Cynthia became a partner of Meicher CPAs LLP in January 2013. She is a member of the Wisconsin and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Cynthia was an Executive Board Member and Treasurer for the local non-profit organization Operation Fresh Start for six years. In January of 2020, Cynthia was promoted to Managing Partner of Meicher CPAs LLP.
